using powerpoint for imagestorming
Powerpoint is a wonderful tool for creating inspiration boards or digital "sketchbooks" which you can use to collect, store, and review inspirational images, text, or links that you want to save to inform your future work. The screencast below describes how I utilize powerpoint in this way, in addition to some suggestions and recommendations regarding why powerpoint is a more elegant way to "clip" and save images than its gangly cousin microsoft word.

Thanks Melissa. - not sure why it has never occurred to me to put visual image ideas in powerpoint. I love fabric necklaces - can't wait to see some of your work on etsy.
