a knowledge addiction?

I've heard that the first step in getting over an addiction is admitting your an addict.  So, here goes...

"Hi everyone, I'm Melissa, and I'm a book addict."

Seriously - I need help.  When most folks my age are hanging out with friends (and/or family) on a friday night (especially a payday one) you can find me scouring the shelves at barnes and noble or devouring my amazon.com wishlist.  Its a combination of scary and sad - I know.  What's worse is how I rationalize spending beaucoup dinero.  "Oh, its for knowledge... no biggie.."  Yipes.

So, I thought I'd better come clean and share my latest loot.  This way I'm at least helping educate others on  the ideas of my impulse purchases.  ;)
